Atlanta is a Tennis Town!

If you're a senior, single, adult, or youth and like to play tennis morning, noon or night, winter, spring, summer or fall - Atlanta is the place for you! Atlanta has numerous private and public courts and is the home of amateur,collegiate, and professional (the Atlanta Thunder) tennis teams. Opportunities for playing tennis are available in many,many neighborhoods in the Atlanta area.

Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA)

ALTA is the largest locally organized tennis association in the nation with approximately 80,000 members. ALTA's primary function is to schedule league play for adult and junior teams in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.  ALTA's has leagues for all ages.  ALTA has for men, women, mixed doubles, senior men, senior women, senior mixed, wheelchair and up/down.  ALTA's Junior Leagues are for boys and girls along with a challenge ladder. In addition to league play, ALTA has tournament league play for all levels of expertise throughout the year.  ALTA tournaments are divided into levels of competition based on the players' current ALTA league levels. Tournaments are divided into AA, High A (league levels A1-A4), Low A (league levels A5 and below), High B (league levels (B1-B4), Low B (league levels B5 and below), High C (league levels C1-C4) and Low C (league levels C5 and below).  For more information on ALTA, please click here.

United States Tennis Association (USTA)

USTA is the largest tennis league in the United States with Atlanta being the largest USTA league progams in the country!  USTA sponsors league tennis for adults, seniors, mixed double, super senior and combo doubles. For more Information, please click here:
