Acworth is 35 northwest miles outside the city of Atlanta, and is adjacent to both Interstate 75 and Highway 41, making the trip an easy commute. There is a total of 13 parks in the Acworth area. The Acworth Sports complex is complete with 6 baseball and softball fields and 2 football fields. Dallas Landing Park, an 82-acre park, overlooks Lake Allatoona and is one of the many parks to feature a beach complete with volleyball courts, pavilions and grills. Acworth is also home to the Cobblestone Golf Course which was named the #1 public golf course in the state of Georgia by Golf Digest. This 18-hole golf course is conveniently located near Lake Acworth.
