While Decatur education is winning awards, so are the city's events.  The Great Decatur Beer and Wine Tasting Festivals, the Decatur Book Festival and the Decatur Art Festival have all received Kaleidoscope Awards from the Southeast Festivals and Events Association. Great times, great fun and great people await the residents at each and every Decatur event, and great food welcomes the residents every day at one of the largest farmers markets in the Metro Atlanta Market. The Dekalb Farmers Market contains over 140,000 square feet of international fare, and brings visitors from all over the world.
