Riverwood High School, also known as Riverwood International Charter School, is a standout school in the Sandy Springs / Atlanta area. As one of Fulton County Schools' four magnet sites, students here can take part in international studies and international baccalaureate programs. Other schools in the Riverwood feeder line include:

Riverwood High School includes courses in foreign languages like French, Japanese and Spanish. It also features advanced placement courses in 15 subjects and 17 different international baccalaureate courses. This high school has been named by Newsweek as one of the best all-around schools. It ranks 148th in the nation, number one in Fulton County and number two in the state of Georgia. In fact, students in the 2010 graduating class receive more than $12 million in scholarships and were accepted to more than 285 colleges and universities. In addition to great academics, there's an extensive athletic program too that features choices like football, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, track, swimming, wrestling, lacrosse, tennis and soccer.
