The Roswell Folk and Heritage Bureau helps the city of Roswell to "protect its historic character" by helping pass historic traditions down to other generations.  The Folk and Heritage Bureau helps younger generations to understand from where their community came, and it also helps shape where the city will go in the future.

These historic traditions are put on display at the many number of festivals held each year in Roswell.  Festivals such as Roswell Roots, and Riverside Sounds Concert Series showcase the extraordinary talents of Roswell citizens and help to "celebrate its culture."
